A chemical peel is a procedure in which a mild chemical solution is applied to the topmost layers of the skin. It visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Specific concentrations of carefully formulated chemical peels are used based on your skin type. These peels are plant-based extracts which exfoliate the damaged layer of the skin; it removes dirt, and clears clogged pores, dead skin and excess oil from the pores. Once this layer is removed the skin that is regenerated is smoother, brighter, and is less wrinkled than the old skin. This procedure also effectively clears mild to moderate acne.
